The Baxter family have been coal Merchants in Boston since 1871, Alfred Benjamin Baxter started the business at 19 Witham Green, he had a son Alfred Hotchin Baxter who carried on the business, he had two sons Alfred Benjamin Baxter, and George William Robert, Alfred Benjamin had two sons Alfred Kenneth, and Frederick Benjamin Baxter who both continued in the business.
Alfred Kenneth Baxter had a son Nigel Anthony Baxter who currently runs the business
